Is my identity safe?
Security is one is one of our highest priorities at CareerIndex, that is why we will never sell on your details to a third party. We also use the latest encryption techniques to keep your details safe.
What about my current employer?
To ensure privacy, only when you actively allow an employer access to your personal details, by accepting their invite to interview, will they be able to see them. This means that if you are currently working and you do not want your employer to know you are looking for a new job, as long as you do not accept their invite to interview, they will not be able to see your name and contact details.
Do I have to give my phone number?
The reason we ask for your phone number is so that when an employer has invited you to interview and you have accepted, we can pass on your details for them to arrange a time to interview you. So, if you give a false number the employer will not be able to contact you. CareerIndex will not pass on your number to any third parties apart from genuine employers on CareerIndex.
Can I contact employers on CareerIndex directly?
No, all communication through CareerIndex is tightly controlled this is to ensure fairness amongst all applications. Once you have been accepted to interview, then we will pass on your personal details to the employer and they will contact you directly.
How do I claim my £1000 financial incentive?
To claim your £1000, you must first secure and retain a job, found through CareerIndex, for 90 days. Once you have done this an email will be sent to you informing you that your 30 day claim window is now open. A claim form will also be made available to you, via a link in the email. Once you have downloaded the form, filled it out, and sent it back to us within the time window we will process the payment. If all is correct your £1000 will then be sent to your employer’s address shortly after us receiving your form.
How do I claim my reward for referring a friend who gets a job through CareerIndex?

Simply login to your CareerIndex account: 'CareerIndex Candidates' can claim the £100+ by clicking the 'Refer Friends' link on the personalised home page, then clicking the 'make a claim' button; 'CareerIndex Friends' can claim £100+ directly from the personalised home page by clicking the 'make a claim' button.

How do I search for candidates?
All you have to do is enter the specific skill(s), or job title you require into our “search CV” page and the most relevant candidates in our database will be provided to you.
Why do I have to verify my email address?
This is to ensure that there are not recruitment agents on CareerIndex, each email address will be verified, as we strive to be a recruitment agent free site.
Why do I have to fill in my profile?
“My Profile” is a very important part of the job selection for the candidates, as it tells them a little about your company. This allows our candidates to make more informed decisions about the place they want to work, which in turn should mean more relevant candidates.
What happens if the candidate does not pass probation?
When you have confirmed that you have placed the candidate in your company, we will email you an invoice. We will also attach a £1000 rebate form which you should print off, complete and return to us if the candidate does not remain employed with you for the 90 day probation period. The form must be correctly filled out and returned in line with our terms of business in order for you to be eligible for the rebate.
